PM speaks to Malaysians, once every week over TV to explain matters...?

Once a week, our Prime Minister must talk to the Malaysian people directly over TV and Radio - it must be a fixed time, maybe a 15-30 minute session, which will be broadcasted over ALL TV and Radio Channels. This will be the time and opportunity for our Prime Minister to answer questions that have come up (eg. about 1MDB, Malaysian Airlines, about the reason for preventing Malaysian MPs and other their right to travel,) It is also the time to report on issues and matters in all other areas of government - like maybe even the TPPA, etc..

THAILAND have been doing this for many years now - and it is effective...and enables people to directly hear what from the Prime Minister. It is a regular affair initiated by earlier Prime Ministers..and what happens during these programs is explained in these quotes from newsreports...
'...on his weekly TV address. Every Friday evening he reaches out to the nation via television to speak on average almost for an hour about his government’s progress, achievements, future plans and whatever else is on his mind, mostly in a furiously fast-paced, relentlessly off-the-cuff manner...' - Asian Correspondent, 30/4/2015
He uses his weekly TV programme to explain his projects to the country. He gets brickbats because it lasts too long. Admittedly, there would be loud complaints if he refused to explain his views and policy... - Bangkok Post,
Transparency and accountability also supports such an initiative, and Najib will of course have an avenue to reach the about 30 million in Malaysia. Silence and avoiding answering questions is just not the way...

Now, there is so many issues - and Malaysians would really like to hear directly from our Prime Minister - it may be time for Malaysia to also start weakly 'Najib Speaks To The People' program over TV and Radio...

It is also important for all in Malaysia to hear what he says - without interruption (good that it simultaneously broadcasted over all channels including movie channels) - Good also if there subtitles in English, Chinese, etc...

I, for one, really would like to listen to what Prime Minister Najib has to say - it is also what should be happening in any democracy...

PM now has his FaceBook - but alas, many really do not have access to internet or facebook > but TV and Radio is accessible to all. It would be good to see your face, and listen to your voice rather than reading some text(which some wonder whether it is written by the PM himself all the time, or just written by some assigned assistant...)
